Riverine Enterprise International, LLC is committed to safe working conditions. The environment can be wet, cold, and drafty. Due to the working conditions, various safety gear such as hard hats, hearing and eye protection are required and will be provided. Other safety gear may be required depending on the job requirements.
Seafood processing jobs may require you to stand in one place and perform repetitive tasks during your shift. Your shift could be 12 hours on/12 hours off, kick shifts, or working extra hours on top of your shift. These positions are physically and mentally demanding. You may occupy the same position on the line for the entire shift, or you may be given another duty every few hours. The work is monotonous and tiring. Boredom is part of the job, but you must always remain alert. After your shift you may or may not have time to socialize or relax. When you shift comes up again you will be expected to show up on time and be ready to work. Many people find it hard adapting to such a structured routine while others take to it readily. Your ability to adapt to these daily routines will have a big affect on your overall attitude towards the operation and your co-workers.
The Riverine Enterprise factory vessel will operate with a multitude of job positions such as seafood processing jobs, maintenance, forklift operators, HSE Dept positions, house keeping, and quality control.
